Dream Nashville, Music City’s downtown chic hotel
Just back from a fabulous trip in Nashville with great friends. Traveling with 8 women, it’s not always easy to agree on where to go, what to do or where to stay! The Dream Hotel Nashville checked all of our boxes
- Set back from the busy Broadway, but still easily accessible
- Walking distance to the main sites such as the Country Music Hall of Fame
- A stones throw from Printers Alley music venues
- On site dining and breakfast
- Upscale with reasonable pricing
I was able to book our rooms with Hyatt Privé rates and privileges. Currently at the Dream Nashville the hotel is offering stay two nights and get the third free. In addition Hyatt Prive included daily breakfast for two per room and a $100 food and beverage credit for the onsite hotel bar and restaurant. When we arrived at 10am 3 of our 5 rooms were ready so we were able to take advantage of early check-in, freshen up and head out on our site seeing journey for the day. The rooms were spacious with high ceilings and chic decor. Everyone loved the beds, as they were super comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious, beautiful and equipped with bathrobe and slippers!
After a day of traveling and site seeing we were happy to have the restaurant Stateside Kitchen available on site and be able to use our food credits. They were easily able to accommodate our large party. Everyone enjoyed the food and our server was most gracious in making accommodations for food and dietary restrictions. The only caveat for this venue is when it’s crowded it gets quite loud.
The hotel has it’s own “exit” or entrance if you will to Printers Alley where we all enjoyed visiting various music venues.
And while the hotel is well situated it is much more quiet than hotels right on or closer to Broadway. Everyone had peaceful and quiet nights sleep.
In the mornings, all guests at the Dream can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea along with a pastry or bagel on the house. Since we had such a large party this was a blessing for early risers who wanted to eat breakfast with the group later in the morning.
The breakfast choices at the Stateside Kitchen were limited, but the variety met everyones needs from a full American Breakfast to Oatmeal with fruit. The favorite breakfast for the group was the Avocado Toast!
The Shark Bait bar on site was fun with a “Shark” theme. We couldn’t figure out the connection from Shark to Nashville but the drinks were great and it was a fun atmosphere.
What we loved
- Quiet, comfortable, chic rooms
- Location, location, location
- Onsite Dining
- Hyatt Prive rates and amenities
- Fitness Center
- Complimentary coffee and pastry every morning
What we missed (but not a deal breaker)
- A Pool
- Outdoor dining or seating
- Quiet dining – I KNOW it’s Nashville! Dinners were great but it was very LIVELY and LOUD. Some may love this!
