Located along the pristine coast of Tamarindo, an eco-reserve in the state of Jalisco, Mexico, this resort is strategically positioned to offer guests easy access and spectacular views of the surrounding landscapes. Despite its seclusion, we can arrange a very easy transfer for you. It’s just a 50-minute drive from the Manzanillo International Airport, with the resort offering comfortable shuttle services. The resort’s unique location ensures guest’s privacy while providing opportunities to explore its rich biodiversity and engage in various activities.

Nested amid the vibrant green landscape and glistening waters of Tamarindo Bay, the Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo epitomizes luxury and serenity in every sense. Offering an immersive escape from the mundane, the property presents a diverse array of lavish accommodations that harmoniously blend with the surrounding natural beauty.

We stayed in a Cliffside Suite with a 45-foot private pool and a view of the resort and the Pacific. To say the rooms and suites are gorgeous would be a gross understatement. Our suite included a living space with dining table, sofa, television, plus a bedroom. The bathroom, complete with tub and separate shower, and walk-in closet makes up about a third of the space. There is even an outdoor, completely private shower! Our private balcony and pool were simply magnificent.

As a Four Seasons Preferred Partner, one of the amenities we offer our clients is daily breakfast for two, which can be enjoyed in the restaurant or via in-suite dining. As someone who normally hates room service, I thought we should give it a try here. One of the reasons I usually don’t enjoy room service is because food tends to arrive tepid. Not here. At the precise time we had asked for delivery, someone showed up at the door with a hot box containing all the food, set up magnificently on our balcony. They also brought a milk frother so they could make our cappuccinos fresh. No lukewarm coffee here! I enjoyed room service so much we had it twice during our three-night stay!

The resort also has a watersports center where you can charter a boat, complete with a captain, and go fishing, snorkeling, or touring.
